Oligo Array in situ oligonucleotide, Agilent Oligo Yeast, Microarray Profile Agilent's Yeast Oligo Microarray contains 60-mer oligonucleotide probes to 6,256 annotated ORFs in the 25-May-2002 ORF list for the S288C strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The ORF list was downloaded from the Saccharomyces Genome Database (SGD weblink below) at Stanford University. This public domain site maintains the official database of the molecular biology of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, as well as the Gene Name Registry for this organism. Probe Design Powerful probe selection algorithms designed by Agilent were used to select unique probes that maximize probe sensitivity and minimize the potential for cross hybridization. Agilent's SurePrint Technology was employed to synthesize the oligos directly on the microarray's surface in an iterative, flexible manner.
