in situ oligonucleotide, [mbiAth1a520184] Mendel Arabidopsis Genome Array, The Mendel Arabidopsis Genome Array is a custom array designed using Affymetrix GeneChip CustomExpress Array Design Guidelines. Feature size is 11 micron. Perfect-match only probe sets are tiled, nominally using 11 probes per transcript, and randomly distributed across the array. Larger numbers of probes were used for certain sequences. The sequences used for probe selections are mostly based on the TAIR6 (www.arabidopsis.org) Nov 15, 2005 release of the Arabidopsis genome. Additional gene models from Mendel proprietary sequences were also used. There are 48,972 probe sets on the array, which have been mapped to 29,543 TAIR AGI identifiers. A number of probe sets from previous Arabidopsis arrays were also tiled. Standard Affymetrix controls were used on the chip along with additional controls made from internal sequences. Probe sequences unavailable due to proprietary nature. |
