Homo sapiens
Oligo Array spotted oligonucleotide, DKFZ human_naive_T_cells 7_samples v1.0, Oligo GEArray 300 Series microarrays can contain up to 276 oligonucleotide spots (including control spots and blanks) which are printed on a 3,8 x 4,8 cm nylon membrane (12 colmns, 23 rows). All oligonucleotide probes are derived from a sequence located at a median distance of approximately 160 nucleotides from the 3’ end of the coding region. Furthermore, gene specificity, sequence complexity, secondary structure, melting temperature and GC content are rigorously evaluated using a SuperArray Bioscience Corporation-proprietary computer algorithm. The customized Oligo GEArray COH-0005 described in this platform contains 247 different human gene probes, spotted on 253 positions (i.e. some genes are present in replicates) and 23 "non-human" control positions (e.g. sequences derived from E. coli, artificial sequences, or blanks).
