Oligo Array spotted oligonucleotide, Kyoto Univ. 3D-Gene Human miRNA Oligo chip v11.0, In “3D-Gene” Human/Mouse miRNA, sense strand oligonucleotides have been spotted on the high performance DNA chip substrate “3D-Gene.” These nucleotides on one “3D-Gene” chip can detect 850 types of human, 610 types of mice, and -350 types of rat miRNAs selected from database mirBase release 11.0. This high performance DNA chip substrate “3D-Gene” was uniquely developed by Toray Industries Inc. Toray uses unique technologies involving the creation of a substrate with characteristic morphology and agitation method using microbeads during reaction, and gene immobilization by molecular control at a nano level. In addition to high reproducibility and quantitative results, ultra high sensitivity has been actualized (0.1 atto-mol = 10-19 mol). This value corresponds to the expression level of 1 copy per 104 cells.
